“Do you cover our district?” — that is usually the first question from the regions. The answer is short: yes, because what is provided is not a physical service. No cable is pulled, no dish is mounted and no installer has to travel to an address. The subscription is opened over the internet and the setup is done in a WhatsApp chat.
For a customer in the regions this creates an advantage too: in Baku the choice of satellite and cable subscriptions is wide, but in the districts it is not. With IPTV that limitation of place disappears — the same channel base, the same quality, the same price.
Regions where the service works
We have customers in the cities and districts below; the list is not exhaustive — the service can be set up anywhere there is internet.
There is a separate page for Baku and the surrounding settlements: IPTV in Baku. The picture across the country we wrote here: IPTV in Azerbaijan.
Why there is no difference between a region and the city
| Traditional broadcasting | IPTV |
|---|---|
| A cable or dish has to be installed | Your existing internet is enough |
| A technician comes to the address at an agreed time | The setup is remote, 5–10 minutes |
| The service depends on geographical coverage | Coverage depends only on the internet |
| The choice of packages in a region is limited | The channel base is the same everywhere |
| With a fault you wait for an installer | Support 24/7 in a chat |
In practice it looks like this: a customer living in Zagatala and a customer living in Nasimi district go through the same steps, see the same channel list and pay the same price. The plans: prices page.
The one condition — steady internet
To be straight about it: the internet situation in the regions can differ from the city. Some districts have fibre lines whose speed is no worse than in the city; in some villages the connection runs over mobile internet and the speed can drop in the evening.
| Quality | Steady speed needed |
|---|---|
| HD | 8–10 Mbps |
| Full HD | 12–15 Mbps |
| 4K Ultra HD | 25+ Mbps |
More important than the number is the stability. A line that drops from 25 Mbps to 4 Mbps at a certain time of day gives a worse result than a steady 10 Mbps one. That is why we tell customers in the regions to test the trial specifically in the evening — that is when the load is highest.
It does, with one condition: the 4G signal has to be strong and steady. HD streaming over mobile internet usually causes no trouble; for 4K a fibre or cable connection is recommended. The free trial shows which one works for you.
How the setup goes in the regions
You write to us
You send the device model and the region you live in to WhatsApp. The region tells us what kind of internet to expect; it has no effect on the price of the service.
We check the speed
You send a screenshot of a speed test. If the result is weak we say so plainly — we don't want to sell a subscription and take a complaint later.
The trial is opened
You get a 24-hour free trial with no card details asked for. Be sure to test the evening hours: trial terms.
The subscription starts
If the result is satisfactory, a plan is chosen and paid for. The methods: payment page.
Practical advice for customers in the regions
- Put the router somewhere central. In village houses thick walls cut the Wi-Fi signal badly; if the television is far from the router, a cable connection is the simplest fix.
- Don't create load at the same time. A heavy download or an online game during a broadcast splits the throughput and the picture freezes.
- Don't force 4K. If the speed doesn't reach 25 Mbps, the Full HD version gives a steadier picture — about 4K.
- Allow for power cuts. Where cuts are frequent, a small backup power supply for the router helps keep the stream from breaking.
- If you plan on two screens, double the speed in your calculation — the plan to pick: multi-device subscription.
Which device is more practical in the regions
The situation we meet most often in the districts is a television that isn't smart. In that case there is no need to buy a new television: if it has an HDMI input, a small Android box is enough — the box plugs into the television, the app is installed on the box, and the television simply plays the role of a screen. With a smart television no extra device is needed at all: IPTV on Smart TV.
The second practical piece of advice is about the type of connection. If the router is in a room far from the television, the Wi-Fi signal weakens through thick walls and freezing starts. In that case either moving the router closer or running a cheap network cable changes the result immediately. It also helps to test the stream on a phone or tablet: IPTV on Android.
Don't switch your current service off right away. A satellite dish or a cable subscription works alongside IPTV in one home without trouble, so it is better to make the comparison while both are live. Make the decision after the trial ends.
Whether IPTV works in your region is shown not by a map but by your own line. Twenty-four hours is enough to find out.
Frequently asked questions
I live in a district — does a technician have to come?
No. Nobody travels to the address for the setup — no cable is pulled and no dish is mounted. The whole process is completed in a WhatsApp chat in 5–10 minutes.
The steps are the same in every region: setup guide.
Is the price different in the regions?
No, the price is the same everywhere. No extra charge applies for distance, district or city, because the cost of the setup doesn't depend on distance either.
The plans: 1 month 13 AZN, 6 months 60 AZN, 12 months 90 AZN — prices page.
My internet is mobile 4G — will it work?
If the signal is strong and steady, HD streaming usually works without trouble. For 4K a fibre or cable connection is more suitable.
Only a real test gives a definite answer: on the 24-hour free trial you check it on your own line, on your own device.
In the village the speed drops in the evening — what can be done?
First run the trial specifically in the evening — the decision has to be made under real load. If there is freezing, opening the channel in its Full HD or HD version is the fastest fix.
Beyond that, connecting the router to the television by cable and not creating extra network load during the broadcast improves the result noticeably.
Does it work in Nakhchivan too?
Yes. Because the service runs over the internet, Nakhchivan is no different from any other region — the same channel base, the same price, the same setup procedure.
The only condition is a steady internet connection. If you send a speed test result, we can assess it in advance.
Which channels work in the regions?
The channel base does not change by region. The Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian, sport, film, news, kids and music categories are the same everywhere.
The full list is published: channels. An explanation by category: channel categories.
How does support work in the regions?
Support is given over WhatsApp 24/7 and does not depend on location. A customer living in a district does not get a slower answer than one in the city.
When you report a problem, send the device model, a screenshot and a speed test: how to get in touch.
