The cinema streams in the Tivibu and D-Smart group
For film lovers this 15-channel category is the most interesting part of the package, because it holds themed and retro streams — uninterrupted channels devoted to a single performer or a single genre.
The channels in the yellow group are uninterrupted streams of classic Turkish cinema — one actor's filmography repeated through the day. That format is very convenient as background: even if you join in the middle of a film, you understand what is going on.

The difference between a channel and the VOD archive
This is the point that needs explaining most often. We set the difference out in a table:

We do not sell a separate «cinema package» for the VOD archive — the film and series library sits inside every package. Someone on a 1-month subscription and someone on a 12-month subscription get access to the same archive. The figures are written out openly on the prices page.
In practice our subscribers use the two together: if they do not know what to watch in the evening they open a channel, and if they are after a specific film they go into the archive. Series watchers, meanwhile, move to the archive almost entirely — because watching episodes in order is only possible there.
Dubbing and subtitles
On this subject expectation and reality often differ, so we write it openly. The audio and subtitle options depend on the channel and the stream, not on our choice. Whatever the broadcaster puts out, the stream carries.
- On Turkish channels foreign films are usually dubbed into Turkish. The dubbing industry in Turkey is strong and the quality is high.
- On Russian channels foreign films are dubbed into Russian — the most comfortable option for a Russian-speaking viewer.
- On international channels (FilmBox, Paramount Channel, FX) the original audio or an audio track choice is possible on some streams.
- In the VOD archive the audio and subtitle options can be selected for a great deal of the material — the scope is wider here than on a channel.
- Azerbaijani dubbing exists in the broadcasts of the local channels; it should not be expected on international channels.

Quality and bandwidth
Watching a film is less demanding than a sports broadcast: the frame is steady and the camera moves slowly. So a Full HD stream is entirely enough for most films. The difference 4K makes shows up on a large screen and especially in dark scenes — the shadow transitions are cleaner.
- Full HD needs 12–15 Mbps, 4K needs 25+ Mbps.
- After 21:00 the network is busy — measure your speed at exactly that hour.
- If the picture freezes in the middle of a film, choose one quality step down: the film then runs without breaks.

Are the films dubbed into Azerbaijani?
Azerbaijani dubbing should not be expected on international movie channels — those channels come with Turkish or Russian dubbing, sometimes with the original audio. Content in Azerbaijani appears in the broadcasts of the local channels. The audio option depends on the channel; during the free trial we check the audio track selection in the app together.
Is it possible to choose subtitles?
That depends on the stream. On some international channels and on a great deal of the material in the VOD archive the subtitle and audio options can be selected; on Turkish and Russian channels the material is usually dubbed and there are no subtitles. If it matters for a particular film, checking during the trial is the most reliable way.
How much bandwidth does watching a film need?
12–15 Mbps is enough for Full HD, and most films look perfectly good at that quality.
