IPTV setup guide — from preparation to the first channel

No technician comes to your home, no cable is pulled and nobody touches the antenna. Your existing internet and one screen are enough. This page gathers the preparation, the steps and the fixes for the first day.

Takes 5–10 minutesRemotely, over WhatsAppNo tools needed

Setting up IPTV is simpler than people expect. You buy no new hardware, nothing is drilled into the wall and your current service is not switched off. The whole job consists of installing one app and typing the details we send you into that app. It takes 5–10 minutes on average, and most of that time goes on downloading the app.

We laid the order out like this: first the preparation, then how the remote setup goes, then the page that matches your device, and at the end the six problems you may run into on the first day and how to solve them.

What you need before the setup

If you keep three things ready in advance, the setup runs without stopping:

  • A screen. Smart TV, Android box, phone, tablet, computer or laptop — whatever you have. No home cinema or special hardware is required.
  • Internet. Wi-Fi or cable. The speed requirement is in the table below.
  • WhatsApp. We do the setup together, so a chat channel is needed. Number: +1 (409) 497-9894.

There is one more small piece of preparation: keep the TV remote control next to you, and if you are going into the app store, remember the password for your Google or Apple account. Most of the time lost happens exactly at the “the store is asking for a password and I don't remember it” stage.

Don't switch off your current service

IPTV does not interfere with your satellite dish or your cable subscription. The two work side by side in one home without trouble. Leave the decision to leave the old service until after the trial period ends — that way the comparison is easier to make.

What internet speed you need

In IPTV the picture quality depends directly on the internet. The plan does not change, the requirement does: a 4K stream naturally pulls far more data than an HD one.

QualitySpeed neededPractical note
HD8–10 MbpsMost home plans deliver this comfortably
Full HD12–15 MbpsIf a second screen comes on at the same time, keep some headroom
4K Ultra HD25+ MbpsA cable connection gives a steadier result than Wi-Fi

Just as important as the number is its stability. A line that shows 30 Mbps but drops to 4 Mbps in the evening works worse than a steady 10 Mbps line. That is why we recommend testing the evening hours in particular during the trial. We covered 4K separately: 4K IPTV.

How the remote setup works

The process can be split into four steps. What to do at each step we send you in writing over WhatsApp, with a screenshot where that explains it better.

1

You tell us the device

You only write us the type and model of the device — for example “Samsung Smart TV, 2021” or “Xiaomi Android box”. We pick which app to install from that, so you don't have to search the store yourself.

2

You install the app

You install the app whose name we give you exactly, from your device's own store. This step usually takes 1–3 minutes and depends on your internet speed. If the Android box has no store, we send the alternative route in writing too.

3

You enter the subscription details

When the app opens it asks you for a few short details. We send them over WhatsApp and you type them exactly as they are. Because they mix letters and digits, copy and paste is the safest route — one mistyped character makes the code fail.

4

The channel list loads

The first time the list loads you need to wait 10–60 seconds. Once it is done the categories appear and you can open the first channel. At this stage we check one or two channels together and see the sound and picture for ourselves.

When the setup is finished there is no “half-finished setting” left on your side — we do not count the job as done until we have opened the first channel together.

Steps for your device

The general order is the same, but the menu names change from device to device. Your own device's page explains it screen by screen:

Smart TV

App choice and store steps for Samsung, LG, Android TV and other smart televisions: IPTV on Smart TV.

Android phone and box

For phones, tablets and Android boxes: IPTV on Android.

iPhone and iPad

The app list and permissions on iOS: IPTV on iPhone.

Windows computer

Player choice for laptops and desktops: IPTV on Windows.

Mac

Setup for macOS: IPTV on Mac.

Older television

If a television without smart features has an HDMI input, a small Android box solves the problem. We look at the model and tell you whether you need one.

What you will see on the first launch

When the app opens, the screen shows a list of categories: Azerbaijani, Turkish channels, sport, films, news, kids, music and the rest. Going into a category lists the channels in that section. If you want to see the full list in advance, we have written it out on the channels page.

Each channel shows a programme guide (EPG) — what is on now and what comes next. The films and series section opens from a separate menu; that is not live broadcast but an archive, and you watch it whenever you like.

The six most common problems and their fixes

The six cases below make up most of the questions that reach support. Most are one or two minutes of work and you can solve them yourself.

1. The channel won't open, the screen stays black

First try a second channel from a different category. If only one channel fails to open, the issue is with that stream — write us the channel name and we find the fix quickly. If no channel opens, in 90% of cases it is the internet or the subscription details: close the app completely and open it again, switch Wi-Fi off and back on once. If it continues, send us a screenshot.

2. The picture freezes or cuts out

Freezing almost always comes from a momentary drop in throughput. Check these in order: move the device closer to the router or connect it by cable; if there is a heavy download, a game or a second stream on the same network, stop it; raise the app's internal buffer setting by one step. If it only happens on 4K channels, opening that channel in its Full HD version is the fastest fix.

If the problem repeats at a particular time of day, tell us — knowing the hour makes the cause much easier to find. If a fault is found on the service side, it is compensated with an extension of your term, as written on our guarantee page.

3. There is picture but no sound

This is usually to do with the audio track selection. Some channels broadcast audio tracks in several languages and the app picks the first one. During playback open the menu and choose another track under audio track. The television's own HDMI audio output or a mute mode can also be the cause — check that sound comes through in another app. If it only happens on one or two channels, send us the channel name.

4. The subscription code is not accepted

The most common cause is a typing mistake: capital “I” versus lowercase “l”, zero versus “O”, an extra space. Copy and paste where you can, don't type by hand. The second cause is the device's date and time being wrong — if the television's clock is off, the connection can be refused, so switch it to automatic time in the settings. The third cause is the code still being open on another screen: a standard subscription is for one device, and if you open it on a second screen the stream cuts out. If you need several screens at once, look at the multi-device subscription plan.

5. The app you need isn't in the store

On some television models the store content changes with the region or the software version. In that case we have two routes: either we name a working alternative app for that device, or we update the television's firmware. We look at the model and tell you which one you need — that is why writing the exact model matters. On very old models a small Android box turns out to be the most practical answer.

6. The programme guide (EPG) looks empty

The EPG loads after the channel list, so it can stay empty for a while on a fresh setup. Close the app, open it again and wait a minute or two. If it continues, start the EPG refresh by hand from the app's settings and check that the time zone is set correctly — the wrong zone shifts the whole guide by several hours.

If you can't find the fix, send a screenshot

Showing a problem is always faster than describing it. A screenshot, the device model and which channel it happened on — those three details are usually enough for us to answer with a fix the first time. We describe how to write to us on the contact page.

Is a new setup needed when the subscription is renewed

No. When you extend your term your existing details stay valid — the app is not removed, no new code is issued, the channel list is not reset. As soon as the payment is activated the stream carries on from where it stopped. Only if you change device does the app get installed on the new one, and that is the same five-minute process.

Starting the setup with a trial

You can also do the setup without paying: that is exactly what the 24-hour free trial is for. During the trial the setup steps are the same, the support is the same and the channel base is the same. No card details are asked for. If you like it, you pick a plan from the prices page and carry on.

Frequently asked questions

Does a technician come to the house for the setup?

No, and there is no need. IPTV runs on your existing internet, so there is no cable to pull, no dish to mount and nothing to fix to the wall.

The whole process happens in a WhatsApp chat: you tell us the device, you install the app, you enter the details we send. 5–10 minutes on average.

Is the setup paid for separately?

The setup is included in the subscription, there is no separate fee. We don't charge extra when you need the setup repeated because you changed device or replaced your phone.

Payment is calculated on the subscription term alone — the numbers are on the prices page.

I don't have a Smart TV, can I use it on an older television?

Yes, if the television has an HDMI input a small Android box solves it. The box plugs into the television, the app is installed on the box, and the television simply works as a screen.

We look at the television model and tell you whether you need a box — on some older models a working app option can still be found.

Can I do the setup myself, or do you have to take part?

You can do it yourself. The steps on this page and the device pages exist for that. All that is asked of you is to install the app and type in the subscription details we send.

If it is your first time, having us in the chat saves time — it reduces the chance of a mistake in picking the app and in checking the first channel.

Can I set the same subscription up on two televisions?

You can install the app on as many devices as you like, but a standard subscription allows only one screen open at a time. If you open it on a second screen, the stream on the first one cuts out.

If two or three screens will run at home at the same time, there is a device plan: multi-device subscription.

My internet is slow, is it worth setting up?

With a steady 8–10 Mbps, HD runs comfortably. If you are below that, definitely take the 24-hour trial before paying and check the evening hours — that is when the load is highest.

If the trial result is not satisfactory, we do not recommend buying a subscription. Saying that in advance is better for us than taking a complaint later.

Who do I write to if there is a problem after the setup?

The same WhatsApp number — +1 (409) 497-9894. Support runs 24 hours a day and does not change after the setup.

When you write, send the device model, a screenshot of the problem and which channel it happened on. The conditions for extending a term after a technical fault are on the guarantee page.
