How to buy IPTV — what to know before you pay

Buying itself takes a few minutes. The part worth spending time on comes before it: who you are buying from, what you ask them, and which signs tell you to walk away.

7 questions to askWarning signsActivation within minutes

In the IPTV market there is a wide information gap between buyer and seller. The seller knows what is being sold; the buyer often knows only the price. The point of this page is to narrow that gap — the questions below apply just as much to us as to any other seller.

The buying process — five steps

1

Ask for a trial

You message us on WhatsApp and say which device you will watch on. The 24-hour trial code requires no card details, no identity document and no advance payment.

2

Check things during the trial

This is the most important step in the process and it is not worth rushing. What to check and how is set out separately on the trial page.

3

Choose a package

The term — 1, 6 or 12 months. The device count — how many screens will run at the same time at home. The answers to those two questions set the price; there is no other variable.

4

Pay

Card, m10, E-pul, PayPal or cash. Sending a photo of the transfer receipt speeds up activation.

5

Activation and setup

The subscription code is activated, entered into the app, and the channel list loads. Setup is done remotely and takes 5–10 minutes.

Seven questions to ask before you pay

We are writing this section together with our own answers, so that there is an example to compare against. Next to each question we also note why it is worth asking.

1. Is there a channel list in writing?

The phrase «thousands of channels» says nothing, because it cannot be checked. A written list can be checked — you look for your favourite channel by name. Our published list shows 256 channels in 12 categories: channel list.

2. Do you give a trial before payment?

A seller who gives no trial puts the whole risk on the buyer. How IPTV behaves at your address depends on the seller's server and on your internet — and only a real test shows the two together. Our trial is 24 hours and no card details are asked for.

3. How many devices does the subscription cover?

This is the limit people find out about too late: a standard subscription covers one screen, and the stream cuts out when a second TV is opened. It needs asking before you pay. Our table looks like this:

DevicesPrice per monthWho it suits
1 device13 AZNA single viewer
2 devices18 AZNA family — two screens
3 devices+22 AZNLarge family, office, café

4. When can the price change?

In some cases a buyer signs up at a monthly price and is then asked for more when a season starts or exchange rates move. Settle the condition in advance. With us the price does not change during the subscription period; a new price can apply only at the next renewal, and it is announced beforehand. Current tariffs: prices page.

5. Who answers when there is a problem, and how fast?

You can test this during the trial — simply send support a question and see how long the reply takes. If it arrives a day later, it will not arrive any sooner once the subscription has started. Our support runs 24/7 over WhatsApp.

6. Which payment methods do you accept?

If only one narrow method is on offer, and a transfer that leaves no record at that, the buyer is in an awkward position. Having a choice means both convenience and a record:

Visa / Mastercard

3D Secure

m10

Мгновенно

E-pul

Мгновенно

PayPal

Наличные

Лично

7. What happens if the service stops?

The answer to this has to be obtained before payment, because afterwards it becomes a matter for debate. Our conditions are written down: if the technical cause is on our side we fix the problem, extend the term, or find a solution for the remaining part — guarantee page.

Signs of a fraudulent seller

On their own these signs do not prove anything, but when several come together they are enough reason not to pay.

  • They will not send a channel list and get by with «we have everything».
  • They give no trial, or ask for money for one.
  • There is no stable contact channel — only an anonymous profile and a changing number.
  • The price is not written on the site; a different figure is quoted to each customer.
  • Only transfers that leave no record are accepted, and they avoid giving a receipt.
  • They promise a «lifetime subscription» or other unrealistic terms.
  • They answer concrete questions about device counts, activation times and support hours only indirectly.
  • They push you to pay quickly: «this price is only for today».
The simplest two-question test

Write just two things to the seller: send me the channel list, and give me a trial. If the first brings a written list and the second a working trial code, the conversation is about a real service. If either gets an evasive answer, it is better not to pay.

Payment and activation

Card payments go through 3D Secure, meaning your bank's confirmation step — you are never asked to send a card number in a chat. Sending a photo of the receipt after a transfer speeds up activation, because the payment is easier to match up.

Activation is done by hand: during working hours it usually takes 5–15 minutes, and late at night it can take a little longer. Because support runs 24/7, a message sent at night does not go unanswered. Every method is explained on the payment page.

Setup — the first step after buying

Once the code is ready the technical part remains, and that is done remotely too. You tell us your device model, we show you which store to install the app from, and you enter the code.

  • Smart TV, Android box, phone, tablet, computer — there are separate steps for each: setup instructions.
  • If anything is difficult, a screenshot is enough and we go through the step together.
  • Setup is free and part of the subscription — there is no installer to call out.

Renewing the subscription

If you want to renew near the end of your term, the process is shorter than the first purchase: you pay, and your existing code carries on. There is no new app to install, no new code to type, no reconfiguring devices one by one. You can also change the term at renewal — which option works out best is costed on the good value IPTV page.

Worth doing on your first day

  1. Go through all the categories once — knowing what sits in which section saves searching time later.
  2. Add the channels you watch to favourites and shape the list around yourself.
  3. Open a channel from the 4K section to see how your internet copes under the heaviest load.
  4. Log in once on the second device your tariff allows and check it works.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to sign a contract to buy IPTV?

No, this is an online subscription service — there is no paper contract process. The subscription is settled over WhatsApp: the package, the term and the device count are agreed in the conversation.

You keep the payment receipt and the conversation itself; the conditions are written openly on the guarantee page.

How long after payment do the channels open?

Activation is done by hand and during working hours usually takes 5–15 minutes. Late at night it can take a little longer, but support runs 24/7.

Sending a photo of the transfer receipt speeds the process up.

Do I have to send my card details in the chat?

No. Card payment goes through your bank's 3D Secure confirmation — you are not asked to type your card number, expiry date or CVV on WhatsApp.

Be wary of any seller who asks for card details by message — it is one of the risk signs listed on this buying page. The methods we accept are listed on the payment page.

Does a payment start automatically after the trial?

No. Because no card is attached for the trial, no automatic subscription is created — when the 24 hours are up, the code simply stops working.

If you want to continue, you choose a package and pay yourself. The details of the trial: free trial page.

My TV is old. Will IPTV work if I buy it?

On a TV without smart functions the subscription will not run directly, but a small Android box solves it. The box connects to the TV over HDMI and the app runs on the box.

Which model needs what is explained on the setup page. It makes sense to settle this before buying, during the trial stage.

I found a cheaper offer. Is the difference worth it?

Base the decision on checks rather than on the number: is the list in writing, is a trial given, does support reply, is the price fixed for the term? Get answers to those four questions from both sellers.

We have set out the costs behind the price and the annual arithmetic on the good value IPTV page.

Is one subscription enough for the whole family?

If family members watch in turn, yes — the standard 13 AZN subscription is enough and changing device costs nothing extra.

If two screens will be on at the same time, you take the 2-device tariff (18 AZN); for three or more screens the 22 AZN tariff. More: multi-device subscription.
